Setting up your own home page on ENUXGS

1. Create a directory called "www" in your home directory.
   % mkdir ~/www
2. Create your HTML home page inside www and call it "index.html".
   % vi ~/www/index.html
3. Finally, you need to make sure:
   • ...index.html is world readable and
     % chmod 644 www/index.html
     
   • ...that www is world executable and
     % chmod 711 ~/www
     
   • ...that your home directory is also world executable.
     % chmod 711 ~
     

4. Following these steps will set your home page URL to:
   http://enuxgs.fulton.asu.edu/~youruserid/
   

• If you wish to add your completed home page to the Faculty/Staff/Students page on the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences server, please fill out a link request.
