Professional Development Hours (PDHs)
The Professional Development Hour (PDH) is a recognized method of measuring participation in formal, noncredit continuing education programs. Although not a college credit, PDHs provide a quality measurement of continuing education. One PDH is earned for every one hour of class time.
Why apply for PDHs? Many professional certifications require members to earn a certain amount per year to maintain certification. This is the primary use.
