Virtual Classroom

This virtual classroom uses Microsoft Netmeeting Version 3. With this program the professor can use audio to talk with the students and can use a whiteboard to display work normally done on a blackboard. You can should run the application using version 3 since it has support for the improved whiteboard. You can download the software from Microsoft's Download Site One last note, the software requires Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher.

Once you have downloaded the software, run the executable to install it onto your computer. Next you will want to run NetMeeting, and answer all the questions that it needs to configure itself for your computer.

Finally, if you are using Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher, then you can click on the following link to connect to the EEE 598 Virtual Classroom.

If you are using any other Web Browser you will need to launch the program from Windows. After NetMeeting has been started you will need to place a call. Select the "Call" Menu, and select "New Call". This will bring up a window asking for information about the call, In the "To" Field Type in 129.219.223.96 and click on "OK".
