About AIAA@ASU

Welcome to the Arizona State University student branch of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. We are a diverse group of students committed to our field that meet regularly to explore the opportunities and current events in Aerospace Engineering and related fields. We are open to and encourage students in ALL majors to join!

As the world's largest professional society for the aerospace field, AIAA is the leading facilitator on behalf of the aerospace professional and student. The organization's main goals are to promote the exchange of new ideas and advancements in flight related technologies, encourage political and government to continue to invest in the progres of aviation and space research, and to serve as a bridge between academia, government and industry.

AIAA @ ASU is a branch of the Phoenix Section. The Phoenix Section's monthly dinner meetings are an excellent place for students to meet and interface with experts and professionals in academia, government, and industry. These meetings also host guest lecturers on a variety of aerospace related topics, and are well-worth attending.

Student AIAA members may also find the AIAA Student Journal to be of interest.
