MOUNTAIN VIEW ECOLOGICAL STATION PROJECT
Update
The MVHS team had its first meeting with CES Researchers on May 5th. Many of the development team's questions were answered and the researchers were able to provide excellent insight and improvements for the design of the site. The primary topics included the preliminary and modified site layouts illustrated below.
The next team meeting will be held on June 1st. Anyone interested in the project should speak to Dr. Hinks to find out more information about possible course credit, community service, or general project information.
Independent Project - 3 Tech Electives
Civil Engineering Students are needed for the Fall 2004 semester to help work on the Mountain View Ecological Station Project. Things should really be underway by then, and maybe there will even be a groundbreaking. Motivated, independent students are encouraged to join up and work on this really great project, which can take the place of a 3-credit tech elective within the department. Talk to Dr. Hinks if you would like more information.
BHC Honors Students - This could be your undergraduate thesis project!
