Chi Epsilon, ASU Chapter Officer Responsibilities

President – shall have the general supervision of all of the activities of the chapter, and shall preside at all meetings.


Vice President – in the absence or disability of the president, assume the duties of the president, and shall help the president with organizing club activities.


Treasurer – shall collect all fees, assessments, and all other money forthcoming to the chapter and act as a custodian thereof, keep appropriate books and be prepared to report on finances of the chapter at each meeting; and audit, with the faculty advisor and the incoming treasure, the books and finances to insure proper order of the funds.


Secretary – shall handle and keep a record of all transactions, business and correspondence; keep minutes of the chapter meeting to be presented to the chapter at the next meeting: maintain an active files of all members, addresses, and pertinent information, and inform all members of activities of the chapter.


Associate Editor of The Transit – shall handle all publicity for the chapter, writing such reports as are required to be sent to the Editor of The Transit. (1 article each year about the club’s activities, and discussion board on the website)


Marshall – shall arrange and direct all chapter initiations and ritual ceremonies instruct members in their parts and act as program chairman for all chapter functions other than business meetings.


Student Council Representative – Shall attend Engineering and SORC student council meetings as a representative and promoter of Chi Epsilon.

Each of these positions requires attendance of one officer’s meeting per month, and one general meeting per month, as well as about 5 hours of personal time for organization, etc. Every officer has access to the XE myasu website, and they are able to post prevalent issues, as necessary.
