The Del E. Webb School of Construction and a consortium of companies involved in advanced technology facility design and construction have developed and implemented a research organization named CREATE, Construction Research and Education for Advanced Technology Environments.

The purpose of CREATE is to explore, develop, and conduct research to provide innovative and practical ways to improve the delivery process of advanced technology facilities. This research will foster collaboration between industry and academia and promote an interdisciplinary approach to training students in construction research and technology transfer.
