The Digital Signal Processing lab of Arizona State University is located at 431, Goldwater Center for Science and Engineering. It is affliated with the Telecommunication Research Center (TRC) and is a part of the Electrical Engineering Department. The field of Digital Signal Processing was developed due to the flexibility offered by the use of digital computers in implementing signal processing algorithms and systems. The DSP lab is equiped with lots of Sun Sparc Workstations, Silicon Graphic terminals and hordes of Personal computers (WINDOWS '98) & Linux PCs. The software used include Matlab, C, C++, Java, Goldwave, Cool Edit, GNU plot, Latex and MS-Office products. |
