Hasan Çam has been with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Arizona State University , Tempe, Arizona since August 2001, where he is currently an Assistant Professor.
He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Istanbul Technical University , Turkey, in 1982 and 1984, respectively. He also received the M.S. degree in computer science from Polytechnic University , New York, in 1986, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Purdue University , West Lafayette, in 1992. He has previously served as a faculty member at University of Arkansas and KFUPM.
He is a member of the Editorial Boards of Computer Communications and International Journal of Communications Systems . He served as a guest editor on Computer Communications. He organized symposiums and served as a Technical Program Committee Member in conferences. He has one U.S. patent pending.
His current research interests include wireless sensor networks, wireless cellular and mesh networks, network security, low-power interconnection and processor architectures.
Dr. Çam is a Senior Member of IEEE.
