General Comments: Exams will have descriptive-type of questions and problems.  Exam problems will be similar to the Examples of the textbook and homework problems.

Midterm Exam:
You should study the following material while preparing for the exam:

• all the slides of lectures
• whatever is explained in the class  (note that I did not depend on the textbook material only in the class)
• all the Examples of the textbook that are related to the material covered in the class
• all the homework and similar problems
• as far as the textbook is concerned, the following material is included in the exam
•  Chapter 1
• (under construction)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  
• supplementary reading material on the course web site

The exam is a closed-book exam; but  one  two-sided sheet of notes  is permitted. You may bring your "simple" calculators with trigonemetric functions to the exam.

Final Exam:
Final  Exam  will  be a comprehensive exam,  although more emphasis could be on those material covered after the midterm exam.
