EEE 302 Electrical Networks II

Course Objectives

This course is structured to help you achieve the following goals:

Students can use AC steady state analysis on linear circuits.
Students can use Laplace transforms to analyze linear circuits.
Students can use important concepts from linear systems theory to characterize linear circuits.
Students can design active linear circuits to implement a desired transfer function.

EEE 302 Electrical Networks II (3) Analysis of linear and nonlinear networks. Analytical and numerical methods. Prerequisite: ECE 201. Pre- or corequisite: MAT 362.

PSpice

The most recent PSpice version can be downloaded from OrCAD (used to be MicroSim) at PSpice products.
Also see PSpice.com which has Pspice models, documentation, and more
PSpice is installed on the ASU PC Network on the Instructor Volume (IV) under the class name of "pspice". To run it follow these steps:
1. Click on the Start button. Move the cursor to Programs, then to Utilities. Next, click on IVmount.
2. Enter the class name as pspice. If the IV button is not selected, click on the IV button to select it. Then click OK.
3. On your windows desktop, you should now see a drice icon labeled U:drive pspice. Double click on the icon. A window with several icons appears.
4. Double click on the "Run me first" icon in order to load some selected files to your local drive.
5. Finally, double click on the "Schematics" icon to run PSPICE.
